We as professionals have to work with what the palyer has, no swing is broken. It is essential that players are given pictures and feelings in our lessons to help them understand the correct movements. We believe that each individual needs to develop in stages in order to build a repetitive swing. The mental and physical aspects of the golf swing are equally important to swing fundamentals. Mathew Parker

Director of Instruction

Mathew is our first ever Director of Instruction. His role brings together his experiences and passion to excel our academy with the intention of offering the very best services in the country. His work has seen him travel on the European, Challenge and Satellite tours. In Dubai Mathew was Senior Teaching Professional at Al Badia Golf Club, followed by being part of the opening team to set up... and run the ETPI at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

Mathew’s success as an instructor has come in many forms including, Sunshine tour win, 5 Satellite tour wins, gaining European tour card and also adding UAE national titles in the amateur ranks in 2016 and 2017. 

In September 2018 Mathew was selected to be the coach for the UAE Special Olympics golf team, this involved training the team on a regular basis to participate in the Special Olympic World Games in March 2019. With only a 6 month build up to the games the team did a fantastic job and Mathew holds this experience as the most rewarding golf instruction he has ever given when the team produced a huge medal hall which included, 5th place, Bronze, 3 x Silver and 1 x Gold medal from 5 Athletes. 

Mathew comes from a golfing family which has yielded six professionals. He is highly motivated to get you playing the best golf possible by offering sessions in a relaxed, innovative and enjoyable style.


Reynard Kleynhans

Teaching Professional

At the age of two Reynard received his first golf club as a gift and since then golf is his passion.  He comes from, Potchefstroom, a small town in South Africa.  During his educational years, he participated in several sports.  Reynard played rugby, cricket, and golf for his school’s first teams. His love for the game steered him to make his PGA Professional Career under PGA professional Liezl Klotz supervision at the Potchefstroom Country Club where he started coaching in 2013. Reynard played in several PGA events in South Africa and came short of victory a couple of times.

During school holidays he and his mentor Liezl presented Youth development golf training to many aspiring young golfers. He also assisted Liezl on a regular basis with golf lessons rendered at the North West University.  In December 2016 Reynard joint the Yas link team as a Golf Operation Attendant.  During September 2017 he started coaching and helped to develop a successful junior development program. Reynard is currently the Head of Junior Development at Yas Links Golf Academy.  He offers lessons with video analysis to all ages and strives to better each player golf skills during his time with them.     


Karl Dunn

Teaching Professional

Karl started out as a Junior golfer based in Essex, England at the age of 15. After finishing secondary school he then embarked on a two year intense golf program at the sports academy based at Stoke By Nayland hotel, golf and spa , Great Britain. Here he excelled and completed the course and earned a National diploma in sports.

He coached at Stoke by Nayland in England which is home of one of England Golfs national training facilities under the watchful eye of Roly Hitchcock who is one of England golfs coaches and also one of the UK’s most qualified golf coaches being awarded the PGA level 4 UK sports coaching certificate from Birmingham University.

Karl played golf to a county level representing the club until he turned professional in 2010 he then competed while simultaneously studying for his foundation degree in professional golf with the PGA. In 2012 Karl became an assistant coach for the Essex county academy program and from this experience it has led him to develop a keen interest in golf psychology. He specializes in shot making techniques that help his students to lower their handicaps.

Karl graduated from the university of Birmingham in 2013 with his degree in professional golf, as well as coaching Karl interests include Custom fitting and equipment technology.
